Nexons new landing page is a bunch of lies Couple of things to say about the landing page. 1) Game looks absolutely NOTHING like the landing page 2) It says "join millions of players online" when GMS can't even hold 20k players that aren't bots. 3) Under the "our community" button, almost everything is a lie. Going to enjoy watching the hype train crash and burn for the new patch. :D Let's face it. Nou-Hime has 200b HP with a 30 minute timer for the entire run (5 floors, fixed damage on enemies, lots of bosses). AND Jett revamp can't possibly live up to expectations after so long, and is most likely a copy-paste of CMS's dragon warrior revamp. The two major content in the game will not live up to expectations, so it's better to get off the hype train before its over the rails.

Doubled memory usage Did anyone else notice that the memory usage basically DOUBLED since the last patch? During the previous patch, it was ~400K, now its ~850K on the lowest graphics setting, and 950K+ on the highest.

Weirdest Elite mob you saw? So what's the weirdest elite mob you saw? If it came with an elite boss, please mention that too. Mines Elite Lyka. At oblivion 5 of temple of time, I was looking for Lyka for the pink bean prequest. So, I found one after CCing for a while and killed it. Out of nowhere, The Elite BOSS comes out with two as bodyguards :D So what's your more interesting elite mob encounter?
Commerci boss difficulty and drops How hard are the commerci bosses? I see on southperry that both bosses have at least 1Bil hp. So can anyone answer the following questions? 1) How difficult are the bosses in terms of damage they deal? 2) What is the drop rate of the sweetwtr set? (does it drop at least one, or more than one per boss) 3) What is the encounter rate for the bosses?
Longest patch time So, what is the longest patch since the beginning of maple? I heard from others that the total time for aran patch was 40+ hour. Also, did the RED patch already set a new record? (count each part of a patch into the total, so all 3 parts of RED will count as one number). Currently, RED is at: Part 1: 11PM -10 AM, + ~12:30PM - 1:30 AM = 11 hours + 13 hours = 24 hours Part 2: 11PM - 7AM, + 12:50PM - 6:15PM = 8 hours + ~5 hour 30 mins = 13.5 hours (still adding up because patch isn't done yet) Part 3: ? (predicting it to be about 15-20 hours) EDIT: Please include the unscheduled "Maintainance" as well. It counts toward total downtime per patch. EDIT2: So Ariant patch was 25 hours 40 minutes, not including the unsch

How to efficiently play Da Heres how: Use until exceed starts and you get to low hp (about 10-30%, depends on your HP). USE OVERLOAD. I cannot stress this enough. At no point from 1-129 have I even used potions. If you somehow (I cant see how you would ever get lower than 10-30% hp as DA unless you're attacking at 20 stack exceed or 1hp/1mp) do not have overload and have low HP, you have 2 options: 1) Use exceed on nothing. It gives you a stack even if u hit nothing. Get 20 stacks and use overload. Your HP should be enough to get you by any hits until you are done. PS: You do not lose hp when hitting nothing, only when attacking enemies. 2) Use potions. With overload, you should never require pots for the most part. Personal Experience: Lvl

Why do people randomly defame Seriously, why do people do this? For example, I went into dimensional invasion, asked J>PQ, then some guy randomly defames and logs off. EDIT: I can understand one, two defames randomly. But if it's my side character that I haven't played since the start of the character release (cannon shooter in this case since legends patch), then there is no reason to defame me unless the person is a jerk.
Switching to full empress So currently, I have 4 pieces of empress (hat, cape, gloves, weapon). Since I'm so close to the 6 set, would it be wise to trade 9% overall and 10% shoes for 6% emp overall and 6% emp shoes to get the 5th and 6th set bonus? On that note, should I also get 3% int /clean emp shoulder (for 7th set) instead of 9% tempest shoulder? PS this is for kanna, so %HP will boost power somewhat.
Empress Equips From Boxes So, all you merchants and overly funded players, you got your wish. Nexon has made the boxes give empress equips at such a rare chance that it won't affect the game very much. How does it feel to screw over the unfunded/low funded? EDIT: To anyone saying that I am complaining, no, I am not complaining. I can afford empress on my own and don't need the event. Also, since no one seems to realize it, Nexon actually LISTENS to their player base sometimes. With all of the people complaining that the market will crash, Nexon probably decided to lower drop rates to appease those people. I.E. Funded players not getting money from their runs causes Nexon to lower drop rates.
To anyone angry about empress dropped from box SUCK IT UP. You guys KNEW ahead of time that this event was gonna come to GMS for MONTHS NOW. You had time to prepare. You had the chance to sell your stuff, now let others do the same. This event benefits EVERYONE. If you don't like clean empress equips, FUSE IT FOR POTENTIAL/CHAOS IT. You can ALWAYS get better stuff this way. This is the same as the tempest giveaway. The price of clean tempest equips plummeted, yet i was STILL able to sell ring/shoulder/pendants/belts with GARBAGE RARE POTENTIAL. Do you know why? Because I fused the items to get +10 atk/matk bonus potential and then sold for 30-50 mil a PIECE. TL;DR This event benefits everyone. Suck it up.
How many times does empress heal? Post fix, ive HEARD that she follows a couple patterns: 1) heals once near 10 min mark, and then stops healing 2) there is a fail safe where she will heal infinitely until 10 minute mark 3) You have to beat V2 before she will die 4) You still have to take down several heals (something like 5+ heals) Can anyone confirm which of these is true? or if there is any pattern at all to empress' heal?
