How badly do W's affect your transcript I currently have 4 w's on my transcript. I'm at a community college. 3 of those w's were due to military related reasons. Another 1 was a 1 unit online course that I didn't feel like doing. I may drop one more class this semester which turns out to be a class that I don't need for my major(nursing). My question is, how badly do w's affect your transcript when it comes to transferring. If I drop this class I'll have 5 w's. I should note my overall gpa throughout CC is 3.5, and am still currently serving so Idk if that affects admissions decisions or not.
Have the race wars officially begun? With everything going on now with black lives matters and the police, and now this new charlotte incident, is it safe to say the race wars of this decade have officially begun or are about to begin? I want your guys opinions on this. I'm preparing a presentation for my political science class and would like some input here. My personal opinion: I don't like BLM at all and within themselves they have yet to agree on what they actually stand for. In the case of the charlotte incident, turns out the man had a gun and not a book. And the leader of the local NCAAP chapter had the nerve to say "It doesn't really matter if he had a gun or not..." I respectfully accept all opinions on here, whether in agreement
Any Engineering Majors here?? Long story short, I'm a registered nursing major at the moment, but I'm interested in switching over to engineering. Looking for advice from engineering majors on what classes are like, how much you study, how you felt when you first went into engineering etc etc. I'm specifically interested in electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering. I'm just open to hearing from all sorts of different backgrounds right now as I make a decision on what path to go down. Tbh, I don't know much about engineering but I know you don't have to be the smartest cookie to do it, just need to work hard and want it. EDIT: Sorrydidnt realize this post was posted in the wrong forum section.
Trouble deciding a major. What's yours? Quick Background: 21 years old, have been in the US Army since I was 17(yes joined early with parent's signature and consent). I am nearing that point where I am at the tail end of my contract and will be officially enrolled in a community college this time next year. I am a combat medic in the Army and have around 3 years of medical experience and background with some certifications now. I have no idea if I should stay in the medical field and go become an RN as like 90% of all other students are doing. Or if I should go get a bachelor's in economics. Tbh actually maple made me realize I have interest in business, with all of the buying and trading and reading prices and paying attention to market ch

Building my first computer So i'm not very technologically savvy I would say, But I'm looking to build my first computer. I just don't know the first thing about it though and I have no idea where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My budget is probably $800-850 dollars. Also, the only computer games I play is MapleStory. Though every now and then i'll use my brother's account and mess around on steam.
Best way to scroll RA/Tyrant? I have all clean Unique tier RA set for Pirates(Hat, Top, Bottom) Then I have a clean Tyrant Pirate Cape/Tyrant Boots And clean Fafnir Weapon. What is the best way to scroll these items? I've searched around the internet a bit before posting this, but most of what i've found in answers varied. edit: Also, what rings should I am to have for my 4 slots? I currently have the absolute ring
Biggest concern in America right now? So guys, out of all the things happening within the country right now, whether it be the economy, military, foreign policy/foreign affairs and wars to gas prices or college prices or anything really. What is it right now that concerns you the most in America and what would you suggest to be done about it?
Thoughts on new Maple Cs level cards? So I was on the main website, and I clicked on the MapleStory Asylum update(Basically Halloween update event). And in the video, it described adding into the cash shop these cards where you obtain a level 50,100,and 150 character class for like 10k,15k,25k, as long as there is a char on your account that already is the desired level. For example, you have a level 150 dark knight, but want to have a level 150 night lord. The level 150 level card would allow you to do so. What are your thoughts on this? I personally don't like it. Though I'm certain it's for a limited time only
How much needed to fund a Corsair? If I want to make a godly Corsair(I'm talking nastymcheezy status or w.e his name is), generally speaking, how much funding(in bil) would it take to do so, while still having leftover mesos. Is 50-60bil enough? or no.
Your view on Veterans? Important Hey guys, I'm doing a statistics project within my stats class, and I'm working on a topic about veterans and how the public portrays them and why. I decided to pick up this topic since I am still currently serving my country, so it hits close to home, but I wanted to ask you guys, What are you views on veterans? And those that join the military in general? Your thoughts on them in war, what they do, what they have to do, do you feel like they're to blame etc etc. Just whatever comes to mind. But PLEASE be as honest as possible and don't hold back your argument or opinion. I am here to collect data and read as to why you think that way, regardless of the fact that I am in the military and what my views are.
how much is enough for Mm? Ive got 43 bil in pure mesos. And ive already got a clean RA bowman set and fafnir xbow. And an 18% dex secondary weapon. Is 43b going to be.enough to get my char to end game? Also what should i be aiming to cube for in terms of my gear/weapin/secondary? Thank you
Decided to take up Violin So kind of just made the final decision to take up and learn Violin. I really feel like music can be so important and vital to someone's life and get be a great stress reliever, and you can play more passionate when feeling emotions running through you. Growing up, I played the guitar but I never consistently stuck with it. So I'm hoping Violin is the one for me. Any advice for me? I'm not "young" I suppose when it comes to learning a new instrument, I'm 20, so idk if that will have any bearing on anything. And any advice on what kind of violin to get for beginners?
What was the first class you made? When you first played MS, what was the very first class you created? why? I created a crossbowman way back around beta, because I had an obsession with archers in movies like lord of the rings, and maple made it that xbow was the stronger of the two, so I figured ehh best of both worlds. Probably got him to around level 19 haha.
Thoughts on Ign? So I just created "KrayonEater". Thoughts? I like it haha since it's one of my favorite insults apart from glue sniffer, and windowlicker(credits to patrick star) I was hoping for "CrayonEater" but that was apparently taken, and when I checked the Maple rankings, it didn't show anyone with that IGN, and I notice that it does that for several other ign's as well. Is there a reason for this? did they get banned or something?
Curious about Mm job advancement name So just something I've noticed, and to the average civilian it's probably nothing. But I've always wondered why 3rd job was Sniper, and 4th was Marksmen, Considering that in the Army, Sniper is one of the most prestigious things/hardest things you could do, meanwhile "marksman" is the absolute basic qualification level on your rifle. Like in the Army, when we have to qualify with our rifles, it goes in this order in terms of award from lowest to highest( Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Hawkeye) Obviously it's just a game and it's all in good fun, but it's just something I picked up on and made me wonder, especially being in the Army, seems like a strange thought for me.
