Infamous Second Son is the "third" (fourth if you count Infamous Festival of Blood) installment of the Infamous franchise, a sequel to Infamous and Infamous 2 and takes place in Seattle seven years after the events in New Marais. In this universe, the "DUP" (Department of Unified Protection) is a police and monitoring group dedicated to keeping order and capturing Conduits (the people with superhuman powers.
