General Zero

Fun yet Minor Graphical Glitch for Zeros Have you ever wanted to make it so that Alpha becomes the one that swings the bigger sword in their two-person relationship? Ever wanted to confuse your friends by having something that shouldn't technically have at a certain time? Ever wanted to dress Alpha up in really girly clothing just for the fun of it? ...so just me on that last one, huh. Anyways, there's a really simple glitch you can pull off that will allow you to let one character appear to use the other's moves, dress up in their Cash Shop attire, etc... and it doesn't even really affect gameplay, so it's completely harmless. It's hard to explain exactly what happens, so I'm going to just list the steps in order to do it. [*] Step 1:[/

Weird Hot Day Box Glitch? So I just got online, accepted the gift box on my Dark Knight, and I noticed that the box contained a 'Rhinne's Protection Coupon'... but I noticed there was also one in the system gift window, so I thought, "Hey, okay, they're giving away two of those Cash Shop effects!" Nope... turns out the coupon gave me, for whatever reason, a set of Elven Spirit Gloves... of which I already own a permanent set... which is currently on my Beryl-roid. Did this happen to anyone else, or has this game just really been kicking me in the ass lately with all the crappy luck?

The Strangest Thing Alright, I want to ask you--the BasilMarket community--one simple question and (assuming this is actually seen by anyone ) I will leave you on your merry way: "How many of you have been having trouble, or been completely unable to log in through Google Chrome (or your most often used browser )?" Long story short, ever since the December 4th site maintenance, something between BasilMarket and Google Chrome has been acting screwy for me; I couldn't log in under any means and couldn't receive re-validation e-mails and am just now talking to you after a friendly tip from one of the people behind BasilMarket's contact team to try a different browser. That's it, that's all I want to ask... well,

P/c on Perm Nx NOTE: Prices should be for Broa. Just did an eleven-box run of some Premium Surprise Style Boxes, and someone's posting an offer on a Red Rose Chat Ring that I got for 300 million mesos. Should I take it, or should I pass it up? He also wants to make offers on my Green Apple Label Ring and an Ink-and-Wash Painting Name Tag Ring. What are good prices for those? EDIT: With the above items having already been sold, I'm now looking for the most accurate price checks on the following: [*]Goblin Fire [*]Flying Nobilitas [*]Angel Cherub [*]Golden Bell Outfit (Male) [*]Kitty Cap [*]Lucia Cape [*]Wire Headband [*]Slither Style Snake Sword [*]Twinkling Boy Hat

A Better Maple - Results For those of us that don't want to have to search through a giant page of options to see what came in first, I thought I'd take the time to show you just what ranked where now that 'A Better Maple' has closed its ranking page. These are what you voted on, Basilers; and yes, it's too late to change your mind on how you voted. [header]4.5 or more (out of 5)[/header] [*]4.8: Why can't non-NX items be shared across all characters in an account? Why are so many items untradeable or tradeable only with a Sharing Tag or SoK? [*]4.8: Why aren't Cash Shop inventories combined, so we can move the items we bought between characters regardless of class? [*]4.7: Why did you make the game so pay-to-win? [*][b

Is Anyone Else Getting Intermittent Lag? Just a quick question. I'm going through Sakura Castle right now on my Battle Mage and the system seizes up for a second every five or six seconds, making picking up the required items more like work than a fun activity... funny thing is, this wasn't happening at any other training spot I went to earlier today. Long story short: just wondering if anyone else is lagging slightly when training, or if it's just something inside of Sakura Castle.

General Dualblade

Confused About Dual Blade Skills Alright, so a little backstory (completely optional, skip ahead if you want ): I made my Dual Blade a long time ago off a free 'Level 50 Dual Blade' coupon I got way back when, leveled him twice, then went on to different characters. After I decided to go back onto him recently and train him up a little out of boredom, I discovered I could job advance a lot earlier... so basically, I just did my Dual Blade's job advancement now. I'm Level 54 now, and I'm genuinely curious about my SP distribution--I've checked several guides, but none of them coincide with each other or are even exactly clear on what should be maxed and what shouldn't. This is my current SP build[/u

Beginner and Resistance Skills Need A Boost So let's look at other permanent versions of pre-first job characters. Cygnus Knights just got a major revamp down to their very cores, giving all of them a mobbing skill, an omni-directional Flash Jump and a recall skill much like Mercedes' Elven Blessing's active effect (with a significantly smaller cooldown). Permanent Legends (pre-Arans) can, to my knowledge, use polearms in order to attack multiple monsters in a row. Other Hero-class characters start at Level 10 and don't suffer the tedium of an unnecessary tutorial for the first ten levels, as do Nova and Sengoku characters... that really just leaves Explorers (Beginners) and non-story-based Resistance characters (Citizens). The Simpletons Guide to Training Since everyone tends to like to post their personal training regimens, I thought I'd do the same for people who want to make new characters quickly. The guide will focus primarily on the earlier levels, but I'll throw in what I think is best for 100+ to help people along more easily. Keep in mind, though, that the main focus of this guide is training for unfunded characters mostly. If you have the funds or sheer raw power to kill something at a higher stage, that's your prerogative... ...and yes, for the people who either can't read or don't want to read, there's a summary at the bottom of the post. As a Beginner... Unless you're an Explorer, a Cygnus Knight or a Resistance character of some kind, don

Cant Trade Surprise Box Items Among Self I encountered this a couple days ago, but never bothered posting about it, and it's left me really curious. At one point in time, probably back when they were first starting to get popular, weren't you able to trade Cash Shop equips you got from (Premium) Surprise Style Boxes between your other characters through the storage NPCs if they didn't have a shared Cash Shop inventory? 'Cause here's my current predicament--I have two 'Dark Irena / Irena the Betrayer' headpieces in my Explorers' Cash Shop, and I want to put one of them on my Wind Archer. Is there any way I can go about that without paying for a new one from someone else?

Anything exciting in the Cygnus Awakening update? As I'm looking over the update notes for the new patch, personally... I don't see anything worth getting excited over except for the revamped characters. [*]The new theme dungeons look alright, I guess, but the rewards don't look any more interesting than what's already available for the effort we're expected to put in; [*]I'm wishing that they had implemented more widely used aspect ratios for the widescreen feature (hooray for a nearly 16:9 game display, sure, but why 1366x768? Why not 1280x720 or something more... conventional? ); [*]I almost never use Monster Life, Maple Messenger and Monster Park, so I could literally not care less about changes to those; [*]the Hot Time hats loo

Nexon you clever bastards Sure they give us a character slot coupon but not un... ...yeah, no, sorry, I couldn't even finish copy/pasting that sentence with a straight face. Let's face it, Nexon's not the best company. They've made several... several hundred... several thousand...? They've made more mistakes than any of us could count on all our fingers combined, especially in not implementing things that would make the game perform better both mechanically and in terms of gameplay itself. I mean, listen to all the people who're talking about suddenly getting lag in major towns; I don't think that's ever been a real issue before about a month ago. And don't even get us started on character balancing... that argument could go on 'til RED get
