Tokyo Ghoul Root A Ep 11 I'm really starting to feel like this show is gonna have a bad ending. This whole season I really wanted the action, and this entire ep was filled with it but it was a total mess with eye-rollers everywhere for me. And I thought Arima was supposed to be a badass and not just your generic white haired, relaxed, emotionless overpowered protagonist who's awesome just cause they said so. And half of me liked the after-credits but once again, what the hell? The manager was supposed to be dead, but I guess all it takes is for his daughter to eat him, puke him up, and get nekkid in front of him and he's good as new? smh lol

Sao vs Sao Ii so far The first one really dropped off at the 3rd episode, but this one seems to keep it going (so far up till Ep 5 atm). Though it's not as mature and emotional as the first 3 episodes of SAO, in my opinion it seems to find a healthy balance of quality and trashy this time around. We all knew it wasn't going to be perfectly mature and great like the first season fooled us to believing. My only problems with the show so far are the asspulls, there seems to be waaaaaay more this time around and I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous a few of them are lol but I'm not sweating it. I get the feeling this is still going to be another trollbait SAO is garbage thread but curious to see what the OTHER people's opinions are this far

God Eater Ep 1 Thoughts? Wasn't nearly as awesome as I was hoping. It just had this incoherent feel from how fast it was moving and it kinda bugged me. Kinda cool premise I guess but nothing I haven't seen a billion other times in other movies, shows, and video games. Art style was pretty slick, but the music was doo doo. And the OP/ED really blew imo. Lastly, I'm starting to get tired of the male protagonists being the usual, reckless "I'm gonna save everybody and be a stupid teen like every other show!". Aside from the art style, this seemed like it was done by a different studio altogether. Well we'll see in the upcoming episodes if this show falls flat but still gets praise by the blind loyal Ufotable fans, or if it will actua

If you were Anime Lord Imagine you had control over all production and marketing of all things anime. You could reboot a series, start an anime from your favorite manga, cancel/continue a series, or even adjust marketing promotions for an anime. What would be your first three orders as Anime Lord? me: [*]Mass production of "Ghost in the Shell: Innocence" 's English Dub Blu Ray release so it wont cost $300-$400 anymore [*]Elfen Lied remastering with ultra-high budget and removal of some trashy scenes [*]Hand pick my English Dub cast for Attack on Titan cause they blew it after this 2nd half >.< (3.5?) Start production of and direct a Clannad live action reboot with the same overall story and a more in-depth look into t

Tokyo Ghoul Ep 1 So I just got around to watching it. What did everyone think? I'm not sure what I'm feeling right now. The OP and ED are bleh and the animation style switch is irritating the living hell out of me. Also maybe it's just me having spoiled a bit for myself by reading the manga but these fight scenes seem so gosh damn rushed. They missed out on some really cool shots like when Kaneki tells Ayato to shush, that scene was epic AF in the manga but in the anime they didn't put any focus on that at all and just seemed like another line. Is this how the manga readers felt when they watched S1 or is this just a S2 thing? I feel so conflicted...
