Claiming Dojo Gloves? So I haven't ran Dojo since way back when and back then you didn't have too much time to claim them. Is that still a thing? or can I claim them tomorrow or w/e time I feel?
Most Creative 5th Job Skill Ever So I guess our 5th Job skill is a reskin'd Satellites? Honestly I think Satellites looked cooler....
Anyone else enjoying 5x Lag Event? My exp per hour rates are lower on a 2x event because of the lag, lol. Can't believe this powerhouse company can't find servers capable of handling the 5k or so players (MAXIMUM) that play it. Cheaper MMO's with 10x the playerbase run buttery smooth compared to this game. I dunno how they get away with this. Reboot players heads up, stay out of Ch 4. Took me almost 3 minutes to cc out of there.
Decorating Tree Event So um... after collecting the 400 bells and fully decorating the tree, Cassandra promised me an "amazing gift". All she gave me was one V Coin. Am I missing something here? Or is she secretly Shaun Murray in disguise?
Should CWKPQ be the next Raid? With CWKPQ requiring a huge party, and how far out it is to walk to it, and the fact it does actually have some party coordination and team work, I think it would be a perfect match for the new Raid system they brought in wouldn't it? Obviously up the difficulty and adjust damage ranges for balance and add in some new features (basically tweak the PQ to be a little more interesting and dynamic) as well as the treasure chest rewards at the end would be based off of party score like Ursus's system. Especially with the auto-party matcher, it would be so much easier to form parties for it. Do you think CWKPQ should turn into a Raid?
How am I supposed to play this class now? Lol what happened to Demon Avenger? It's totally different... again. Not saying it's bad, I still quite like it but I'm so confused. Am I supposed to stick with Lunar Slash for mobbing or the (now ultra slow) Nether Slice? Pretty sure Lunar does way more damage and is 2x faster. So other than the defense reduction, is Nether Slice any useful for mobbing? Or is it now just Lunar forever and Execution bossing only? Kinda sad. Bats and Demon Strike are super useful now though :D I liked those skills. Also, curious did Demon SLayer get yet another big overhaul like Avenger did?
Wish theyd revamp and combine PQs TL;DR at the bottom! After leaving Maple a long time ago, it's nice to see the game doing so much better than it was a couple years ago. At this point, all I wish they'd do is rework all of the PQ's and model all the instance-based bosses to be more like Ursus or the FFXIV party-matching so that it brings the community back together because training and most bossing is still solo work. Just an idea here, but here's what I'd like to see them (hopefully) do with PQs and all instance bosses. -PQ's require 4 people, and auto-put people into parties like Ursus does. -Bosses require parties of 6 people, automatic party matchmaking as well. Solo can be done, but at nerfed exp/drop rates. -PQ/Instances have a maxim
Best cubes for rank up in Reboot? Which of the Master, Red, or Black cubes the most meso efficient to rank up? For the most part I'm just trying to get my equips to Epic/Unique. I'd imagine Black is a terrible idea for that right? Unless it's a really good pot I don't wanna lose.
Need a new antivirus software AVAST has been acting more and more like a virus over the years, constantly putting ads on my screen for me to use Chrome, constantly telling me to use Google, constantly telling me they stopped 805,573,578,999,666 trillion viruses last year, trying to download plugins all over Firefox, and now they just freaking downloaded and installed their POS web browser on my computer, and are now trying to tell me to use that stupid thing! I'd search up a good antivirus list but loads of those lists are bought and paid for advertisements as well. Avast is going down the toilet and I need a new antivirus program that isn't a hypocritical virus itself. Are there any programs better out there?
Mirror's Edge Catalyst opinions Well I've been hyped for years and I got it day one. Kinda had mixed feelings on the game after I finished it. A month or so later I have the strong urge to play it again (which was a lot sooner than when I wanted to replay the first game). Playing it for a 2nd time and I gotta say, aside from some cringe-worthy story scenes/lines, it's pretty damn stellar. Re-DLing Mirror's Edge 1 to replay it to compare right now and I get the feeling it's really gonna be a huge downgrade (which is a good thing!). Curious, for the other people who played Catalyst. What were your thoughts on the game? Are you still playing it or plan to replay it later on?
So about those 5th Job class names Really sad they didn't kick up some fresh new names to the classes. At least let us get those new job names as like a level 250 award or something. Still can't help but laugh though at all the countless threads we've made of 5th Job class name. You guys bummed out they didn't change the names or are you still attached to the current?
Berserk First Impressions? Episode 1 of the new Berserk series just aired. As excited as I was, I'm not sure how I feel about it. -Visually, it looks like a medieval Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. -The music reminds me of Sword Art Online -The CG fight scenes were kinda hard to follow and (in my opinion) not very well shot at all -I've always watched Berserk in English so hearing the Japanese cast is super weird. Dunno if I can get used to that... -Casca is white in this series? o-0 I dunno guys. I liked it, but it feels so gosh darn weird! What was everyone else's opinion?
DB 5th Job new skill Did you guys see that attack speed? Hoe. Lee. Eff.
DOOM 4 Lore and Story explanation TLDR at the bottom! I see a lot of people skipping over the whole story and lore for this game and it's kinda sad. I've been a doom fan for 15 years so I know why it's skipped over but I actually think they did a pretty bang up job this time around. It's one of the more badass stories in video games that I've seen and I thought I'd share it with anyone else who doesn't feel like digging through the lore and data entries themselves (its a lot of reading). I know it's a great big wall of text but there is a tldr for you at the bottom if you need. Most of the story takes place in the past as the precursor to the events that transpire in the game. -------------------------------------------- Backstory/Lo
Upgrade to Sennheiser HD598? I bought a pair of HD518 two years ago for like $110 or $120 but I'm looking at maybe upgrading with the price of the HD598 on Amazon right now. Does anyone know if the sound quality is a gigantic increase or not? They're for sale for a pretty low $130 right now and I'm very tempted to buy them and give my 518 to a co-worker/family member, but I really don't wanna spend that kind of money if it's not as drastic as I got my hopes up to being. I know they have lower bass unfortunately but any idea of how much lower or noticeable the Treble/Bass is between the two sets? Thanks
Solving Bloodborne Even with all of these lore and story explanation videos I always feel like it's not adding up, like we're totally missing the big picture and the real story has yet been uncovered. I thought a bit about it today at work and I think I've figured out enough that I'm pretty satisfied for once. For anyone who cares, here's what I think Bloodborne's real story is. I believe this story is very reminiscent of Inception if it was a H.P. horror story. Dreams within dreams and an endless search for reality. The story begins long ago when people found Pthumerians and through those findings, we found the existence of "Great One's" that live within our dreams. We believed that dreams are planes of existence that lie beyond
