So, uhm beginners via character cards Now, this is a slightly different variant the other thread currently up. I'm not upset about it upsetting our broken rankings or upsetting the nonexistent community. I'm concerned that people think it's worth the outrageous cost in nx to make a useless character automatically Lv.100. It completely ruins what little point there is. Besides, you can easily get a beginner to 100 without spending a cent on the game. We suck FOREVER, even moreso now with the outrageous HP on most enemies, and unless I'm missing something, couldn't you take a week of casual leveling to get to 100, then spend that nx on something actually valuable? I mean, where's the logic? What's the point? I don't get it... I find it absolu

Krexel drops/rewards nerfed So, I just did my daily krexel run... and I have some unfortunate news. It may have been covered already (I'll close the thread instantly if it was), but krexels drops AND the quest reward has been nerfed. I was on 1.8x drop when I killed him and I got 3 drops. 1 was the key, the other 2 were random equips. No meso bags, no reindeer milks, nothing. When I turned in the quest.... I got 300k instead of 7.5mil. Whelp, there goes my core way of making any money whatsoever. I really dont understand why they nerfed those drops. 7.5mil a day is hardly unbalanced. I don't get why nexon is so against quests giving any sort of reasonable income. Every other MMO does so, why are they so hellbent on making quests pointless?

Oh wow, nostalgia Now, I don't know why I had the chat fully extended when I took the ScreenShot, but this brought back some memories. Back when Def really meant something -cries- I kinda miss those days, but... only for the people really. And the def/accuracy formula. That's really all I miss. EDIT: I remembered a thread like this on this forum before, and I miss it. If you have any, post old nostalgic screenshots of your beginner(s). Or, if you don't have any, recent ones work too. I just wanted to make a thread... don't judge me.

So its been like forever since I cared about this game >Is it still going downhill faster than a fat man down stairs curled up like Sonic? >Is it still ungodly unbalanced and pay-to-win? >Is it still a grind-fest if I train alone without NX with a full stat build (having 95 dex on a bucc as an example)? (I hate mmo communities, so I play alone for the most part) Becauseee I quit I believe this January, I think... .-. I was enjoying my CB after my Bucc and Beginner lost any and all flair, but then just lost all interest entirely. So, how is the game now? Ignoring my sarcastic mocking up top, I'm perfectly willing to re-download this game for the occasional little 30minute-1hour playtime. I'm just worried that this game hasn't really

[Reboot] Link skills bugged for anyone else? So I have a single link mule (phantom, Lv.2) in reboot, and I have it applied to my hayato. Whenever I log onto my hayato however it doesn't show (I still have 5% crit and it shows that I have no link skills). What's bizarre is that when I log onto my phantom it shows the link skill being applied to my hayato and when I relog to my hayato the problem is fixed (but only until I log off again). Is anyone else experiencing this? This is kind of frustrating, and would be an incredibly annoying issue for those with way more link mules. I just want to know if I'm the only one with this problem, because I haven't seen any other threads on this topic (I haven't checked very hard, to be fair).

I just dont get it. Why is it that the beginner community seems to have gotten even more obsessed with having good gear and good damage? On a beginner it won't make much of a difference because you can still train in an efficient manner with a low range, not to mention how we still suck even with the godliest range. I just feel that it's a waste of time and money trying to make a beginner super-frickin'-godly yet everyone has thrown the enjoyment of the class out the window and focuses on gear and levels... which do almost nothing for the class. I just want to hear everyones reasoning behind it, because I just don't see the sense in it.

Why do people do this? Enjoyment seems to be a touchy subject, because different people enjoy different things... but there is something I've been noticing recently. A lot of people seem to care more about effort and hard work in a lot of games they play. Now, I'm not talking about a game that emphasizes on skill or challenge, but a game with a system that makes it seem almost like a second job. Now, Maple isn't the only game with this problem, loads of games suffer from this, though MMO's are the most prominent example. A lot of people seem to play certain games just for the rewards, rather than for the enjoyment the game originally gave them. Now, I get that a lot of people find a sense of achievment to be enjoyable, and for good reason..

So, college Alright, got my freshman seminars starting tomorrow. The days of me sleeping in are now gone. College... has commenced. I'm so psyched, but it also means I wont have a ton of time for screwing around. In between lectures, work, homework, study, clubs, martial arts, and even general fun and entertainment chances are I'll forget about this place. That would actually be amazing if it happened, but I digress. I will not be here much anymore if at all so I may as well say my goodbyes to the 3 people that actually know of my existence. If you are one of the majority who knows not of me... here are a few terrible screens of when I used to actually play my beginner. I've made a few friends in this section over the years of me being an o
