Great Game Design Right Here Folks Why the flying fluck can't I go back to the world select screen from the character select one? Doesn't Nexon know they have millions of players who have characters spread out in multiple worlds to save IGns or otherwise? HOW DO THEY OVERLOOK SOMETHING SO INFURIATINGLY OBVIOUS LIKE A BACK BUTTON IN CASE SOMEONE MIXES UP WHAT WORLD THEY WANT TO GO TO?
High End Bosses spawning in towns I remember a few years back that a group of hackers managed to spawned a bunch of Empresses and Arkariums in Henesys. Back then, it was disastrous due to the loss of exp but in hindsight it was pretty fun. Everyone dying, not being able to leave town, groups of people teaming up to kill it. I'd be pretty awesome for Nexon to organize an event where they just spawn a bunch of bosses (ex Hard Lotus x 3) and everyone had to team up to kill it. I'd be a good way to showcase how you don't need 2m2m range no clownerino to kill bosses but teamwork and friendship :D! Maplestory is such a great game.
Maplestory Appreciation thread Let's face it, we often bash Maplestory about how crappy and p2w it is but it's easier to insult someone/something based on their faults rather than it is to give praise for what it does good. So, let's all stop being hypocritical anonymous jerks on the internet and state what Maplestory does a good job of doing and/or what it improved on. I'll start. I like how they revamped the smithing portion of the professions. Smithing never really served a purpose before since equips/weapons drop frequently enough from mobs + better equipment are dropped from bosses. Allowing blacksmiths to make cubes helps low end players like that simply don't have the cash to spend on cubes.

People with glasses I recently got glasses (IDK my prescription but I'm really nearsighted) and I was talking to a bunch of friends who also have them. My only concern with them is that I can't see why kids love the taste of cinnamon toast crunch. I have a theory that the cinnamon reminds kids of dinosaurs and EVERY kid loves dinosaurs. Thoughts? Mods wrong in suspension? 2 days ago, I made a joke thread about how Maplestory has some sinister ideas and Nexon wants to spread it to its players. Interestingly enough though, I made a poll on what people think and No overcame Yes by 1 vote. At that point, does that thread classify as "absolute spam" or were mods too lazy to read my wall-o-text and just thought "Nice copypasta" and suspended me?

Liking a character What does it mean when someone likes your character? I mean, there is ton a of other players with much better nx items than you but for some reason, they liked you. Cant patch my game I haven't played Maplestory for a week or so because of internet issues and I had to patch it due to the new "Mark of Honor: Hieizan Temple" update. Patching is pretty straightforward but it seems that I always get stuck at a certain part of the patching process (mainly at 184.4MB when the patch is receiving the new files) and I have to open Task Manager and end it. This could be some more weird connection stuff from my end but did anyone else have this problem in the past and managed to find a solution? Just wanted to add that usually wait around ~25mins before I decide to restart the patching. Just wanted to make sure noone thought I was being impatient
Gear Wing Glitch? I bought a Gear Wing today for about 230mil in FM and wanted to sell it for a nice little profit. When a buyer traded me I wasn't able to show it. I made sure to not equip it yet somehow it's untradeable. Is this a glitch or was I being ignorant and not knowing you can only trade nx items once o.o.
Red Spear Dilemma I was able to get enough summer coins from playing One Card ( I'm a master at that game. Don't expect to win against me) and cubed my Red Spear. Still stuck on Unique though... Here's the thing, My Red Spear is currently at +6 70% scrolls, only failing once, and I don't feel like I'll get lucky with the reveal. Should I sell it right now or take a risk and hope for some good lines. If you chose to leave it unrevealed, a price check would be nice (in bera).
4th Job Advancement Help I just reached level 100 today this morning and my 3rd told me to find the Forest of Priests immediately. I haven't played for awhile but I remembered that you had to talk to Cassandra to access it. The only problem is that I couldn't find her in Leafre. The Cassandra in the Event Hall doesn't give you the option to go there as well. So I tried going to the Black Birk map and go in there manually but it wouldn't work. So now I'm stuck at level 100 with no way to advance. HELP :~(!
