Im Awkward and Pathetic. Help? So I haven't been on this site in about a year. I just came across a new problem that requires anonymous help from the internet, and I've always turned to here. Anyway, so there's this girl (of course). Thing is, I can't talk to... people. I can never think of things to say, and if I say something, they give one word responses and things get awkward. Also, I'm not exactly what the kids say "attractive to members of the opposite sex" both in a physical and behavioral approach. That might be a problem too. Help?

Vent Your Feelings Here Say whatever you want to get off your chest in this thread. Here's mine to start off: I'm in marching band, and there's this girl I kinda like. Everyone is telling me to ask her out, but I really don't want to. They're telling me that being rejected isn't as bad as asking at all, but that's not it. I'm not afraid of her saying no, I'm afraid she'll say yes. I can barely talk to a girl, much less have a relationship. Plus, I already have tons of crap to deal with, I just know how I could fit it all in. What's bugging me though is it might come back to haunt me in the future, because she's the only girl who has shown even an ounce of interest in me in my entire life, and I feel like I'm missing an opportunity. Okay, go

I Was Born in the Wrong Generation Well, I wouldn't say generation... I'm in marching band, and all the seniors like the same things I do: Team Fortress 2, Magic the Gathering, PC gaming, classic rock, certain websites that shall not be discussed here (NOT THAT, just the "deep" internet. Websites that will understand what a "meme" is or what MMORPG stands for.) But the freshmen (the grade I'm in) like: Call of Duty, Console gaming, modern pop music, and using the internet just for facebook and Skype or AIM or whatever people are using now. I know these are all shallow things to compare, but these are really the only things I'm interested in (that other people actually care about), and it's kinda disappointing.

My Experience with Marching Band so Far. I'm going to keep this short: I've made friends, and it's fun. :3 People at my school seem to hate band kids though. I've heard, "Marching band is for people to lazy to take PE" a lot. Also, during Senior night, the marching band and football seniors had their names called out and their pictures taken in front of everybody before the game. When they got through the football players, they started blasting music really loudly, so you couldn't hear the names of the marching band people. Also, this jerk is really popular. >:[

Why is Call of Duty so Popular I played it a few times at my cousins house, and it was really bland. The multiplayer was a repetitive killfest with no strategy or teamwork involved. I noticed that he had Left 4 Dead, so I suggested we play that, but he said he didn't like that game. He said instead we should play Nazi zombies... Then at school, there's a lot of people who insist Call of Duty is the best video game ever. When they start talking about CoD, I just assumed they played other games, too. I asked if they played games like Team Fortress 2 or World of Warcraft (that's a stretch, but I was wearing a WoW shirt that day) or even Minecraft, and they just laugh at me. So, just wondering: What's so great about Call of Duty?

Back From Band Camp I know no one cares about this, but I felt like putting my story into text anyway. (So I can pretend to have friends that care about what I say :~() I signed up for the marching band at the high school I'm going to, mainly because my brother was in it a few years back. He was always telling stories about how great it is and how many friends he made and blah blah blah. Another part was because this band is one of the best in the state. I know it's not all about winning, but I can't really imagine it being too fun when you're always losing. Going into it, I knew it would be a lot of hard work (especially since I have no upper body strength... or any kind of strength), but I knew that if I didn't do it, my dad would complai

Why I Hate Minecraft Every freaking gaming channel I subscribed to on YouTube has at least one series dedicated, and if not has completely converted their channel to Minecraft. It's all people do now. If I wanted to subscribe to a Minecraft channel, I would've gone to any other channel on YouTube, because any other one will most likely have Minecraft videos on it! Seriously, you're not being original by posting your "adventures" in Minecraft! It's just getting repetitive and annoying! *ahem* Thoughts?
