The psychology behind dpm charts This is gonna be my take on what a dpm chart represents to the comunity, and how it directly impacts the game. So many of you might not know this but in kms, people take the game waaay more serious than in gms. Dpm charts originate from kms and it's turned into a religion to those who think about funding a character for optimal bossing. Obviously these charts take into accaunt that every boss is gonna be binded 24/7, which is clearly not the case, therefore they are very innacuarate. Like I mentioned before, dpm charts have turned into a religion. Society works in a way that if evidence that Jesus didnt exist was found, people would still stick to their religion, its human nature. It has gotten to the point
Decent skills and equipping an item... I have C.O on and Adv blessing on 2 separated armor pieces but those are not the MAIN ones that I would risk myself to equip and buff in the middle of cvel, so I can put up with that. The main issue is with S.E and S.I. My tyrant glove has S.E neb that I can use in-combat, making me not equip/unequip another item for my boss runs really. I recently got S.I on an empress glove and I need to use that in combat whenever possible. Is it worth to buy a S.E neb on my empress glove to have the 2 skills there and then just buy a 4% int neb for tyrant glove? or should I just rotate between those two gloves for S.E and S.I? It just feels too comfortable to have S.E on tyrant glove but I feel Im missing out dmg a
Were to farm honor exp? Were can I farm honor exp in a fast way? I already did all of my bosses and I only need 800 more honor exp. Farming it on training grounds is too slow.
Legendary lines of Inner Ability? I have: +40 int on 1st line +12% boss dmg on 2nd line +10 or something int and +str on 3rd line I heard that only your 1st line can be legendary unless you locked a 2nd or 3rd line from before the inner ability revamp. I locked my 2nd line of boss% (I think 12% is legendary only) from before revamp but I want to get Atk speed +1. Do I need to lose my line of boss% to be able to get it on the 1st line or can I still have them both? Idk if you can have 2 legendary lines at the same time.
Mysterious Blank error Was doing hard hilla with a friend. I suddenly freeze/lag for like 5 seconds and then I disconnect. I try to connect again and then the game boots but it then crashes. I try to connect once again right after and when I click "Play" it sends me that error asap. (I'm using the game launcher) Anyone knows whats up?
Does maplestory rounds decimals for calcs? I calculated to have 92.96% pdr after using hyper stats. It is not 93% so it shows as 92%. I want to know if it works as 92.96% or as 92%. Because if its 92% then i wont bother using hyper stat points to be near 93% and not get that 1%. Anyone knows?

Ways to avoid getting 1 hits? I'm trying to figure out how to minimize risk at chaos vellum if I were to solo. I'm a battle mage and atm the ONLY way to counter 1 hits is pt shield. Pt shield + pet pot = bae. However neither the blue aura nor BaM card nor Zero link skill makes me survive one of his 1 shots (and with all of that combined I have -60% dmg reduction). Is there any card/link skill/Inner ability etc, to at least survive them with 1% hp (Already have shade link)?
What to prioritize? What should I cube first/Focus more on? My worst items atm are 6% int tyrant cape, 20% boss secondary, 6% int pants and 9% int hat. I have 251% boss dmg with that secondary. I know I can boost my range A LOT if I cube it but is it worth dropping down to 231% boss? They are all unique tier but I'm using 42 black cubes (or maybe 66 red cubes + 6 blacks) and I don't think I will be able to get them all to legend so I will focus on at least 2 of them. On Which order should I prioritize my cubing? Maybe I will just focus on tier ups and stats later but even so I dont think I can tier up 4 items with that many cubes.
A class that can't solo every boss? Is there a list of jobs whose dps won't do for Dorothy/Normal Lotus/Cvel even with 50m cap dmg and not dying a lot? Well, Dorothy seems to be a possibility for every job since I saw a bishop do it but how about the other ones. I'm thinking about Jetts? idk, Mihile maybe? What do you guys think?
Boss% vs Matk% Hello, I'm working on my secondary weapon and I have 269% boss dmg with my secondary equipped (that has 30% boss dmg and 12% int on pot). Should I recube it for matk% instead? My boss% would drop to 239%. If so how much matk% would be worth cubing for, to get a more or less equivalent to 30% boss dmg and +12% int?

Hyper stats and what to use them on question Hello, reguarding hyper stats, I have Damage at lv 10, what should I max next? Without any hyper stats I have: 62% crit rate 68% min crit 87% max crit 262% boss damage 81% pdr What should I put points in after Damage? I am a DB and I can get cap crit rate under certain conditions with a pasive skill. Edit: I have 372 Hyper stats points to use in total (lv 204)
Culnesis face expression? Anyone knows if that nx face acc is able to display face expressions? I couldnt seem to be able to f2-f7 while using it on cs. Might be a bug, or is it just like a mask?
Top 10 1v1 classes Desregard the dpm charts, they are far from the true scenarios. What are the top 10 1v1 classes based on the tools they have on hand to take on a boss? Obviously those tools don't mean anything if you can't dps decently as well. These are the classes I'd put in the list (in no particular order yet): NW, Kaiser, Hayato, DB, TB, I/L, Hero, BaM (with good ping), Phantom, Demon avenger/Slayer, Shadower and Aran. I'm basing this on: Dmg, I-frames, mobility, status resistance, sustain/tankiness and ways to dodge attacks. Don't think bind is important on a job anymore since the release of Erda Nova.
