I haven't trained/leveled in a long time, so I recorded my level-up at SDH yesterday. I lag really badly there; I cut out the worst parts from the video but you can still see some of the lag, especially at the end. Weird thing is, my computer is pretty good but Maple chooses to lag rather than use up more of my CPU...
Today, I decided to see how fast I could solo Hellux with the fastest possible attack speed. My Fafnir Claw is Fast (4), which is increased to 2 by Claw Booster (-2). This is normally the speed cap, but it can be broken by a green potion from MPE (-1). As you can see at the start of the video, I have the +1 attack speed inner ability (-1), which improves it to 0, which is the hard cap and cannot be surpassed. I recently tested the hard cap for speed by seeing whether an additional boost of Decent SI (-1) to the above setup would speed up my attacks. To do this, I timed how long it took to complete 20 quad-throw attacks with and without Decent SI. The results were that both take the same time, which is around 10 seconds (10.07s with Decent S
I tried out the new dojo system today, and was able to get a sub-4:00 time on my Night Lord. Due to lag while recording, this is a 3:59 run, but as you can see at the end of the video, I managed a 3:55 time earlier while not recording. A few points to discuss: - An MPE green pot combined with +1 attack speed inner ability allowed for maximum attack speed. - I cast my first Epic Adventure buff before the Lord Pirate stage because that's the first stage that takes two capped quad throws to kill. - I summoned my mag soul at a time such that it lasts until right after the final stage. - For most of the bosses, I stood as close as possible in order to minimize the time it takes my attack to hit the boss.
