No.
If you pre-patch, you can't play again until after the patch is done being upgraded on the Nexon servers.

I never do pre patches. Not even in a hurry anyway. If Nexon does change the patch during the maintenance then whats the point.

Can I ask how the prepatch works exactly? After the download do we just stick it in the Maplestory folder or subfolders?

So you don't have to waste time patching after the game comes up. You can jump right in, before other people who are patching. Guess it's nice if you need a spot in the FM, which doesn't matter since there will be an USC after the patch anyways.

I'm currently stuck on Applying: Maplestory.exe so it may not be ready yet.
