Xenons Link Skill will be Reduced to Level 2

http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/maintenance/bug-extermination-reports/00FV9/known-issues-updated-october-23-2013

"Kaiser and Phantom link skills have a Master Level of 2. This is being checked with the developers to see if this is intended. Please note: Xenon's Link Skill having a Master Level of 2 is intended. The update notes showing the Master Level 3 was a typo, and has been corrected. After speaking with the devs, it has been decided that a Link Skill giving 15% to all stats would negatively affect balancing. We apologize for the confusion."

It sux for people who got their xenon to 210. Personally I stopped after I got the lv. 2 link skill.

I don't see why people complain about the lv. 3 links becoming available at level 210. If you go hard, you get rewarded, and there is nothing wrong with that.
This. Link skill lvl 3 is a decent idea but the lvl req for getting there is just a really stupid choice by nexon...
With the amount of complaints I've seen, they should just be rid of it and not provide a level 3. Just because it's there doesn't mean everyone has to get it/needs it. It's just another incentive to level past 200. So I feel it should be left at 210 or at least 205.

And it's also a slap in the face whenever they do this to us. Which is one reason why I thought it was stupid to begin with.
The entire concept of 'Level 3 Link Skills' is completely retarded (no offense to the mentally handicapped ). I mean, let's graph it out, shall we?

Getting to Level 70 (first link skill) takes just about 5.25 million EXP; experience is extremely low, never reaching more than 300 EXP per kill normally... that's not very hard at all, though, with all the freebies we get along the way now, and getting from Level 70 to 120 takes another 117 million EXP, with kills never giving more than 1900 EXP per kill, which is still reasonable as power tends to scale with level...

...so who in their right mind thought it would be worthwhile to make the third level accessible at Level 210, after needing another 76 BILLION EXP to get there from Level 120 (that's '76' followed by nine zeroes or, in layman's terms, going from 1-200 four times over )? The scaling's all wrong. A more feasible and worthwhile goal would be 150 or even 160 as it starts to get you nestled into the realm of having Hyper Skills... or hell, 170 would be a bit of a stretch, but having passive stat boosts would make the journey more bearable... but after that, it's a plateau... there's no strength boost whatsoever. You literally just peter out and struggle for the next forty levels...

...seriously, if Nexon considers that 'incentive', I'm not buying into it. Really, where's the fun in that?
-_-

Why bother giving us TMS content if you're just going to overwrite it with KMS content? GMS developers are idiots, I swear...

Yes. Getting a character to level 210 (Two-hundred ten) for a link skill is unbalanced. 5% more all stats compared to the link skill at level 120. 90 levels lower.

If someone gets a character to 210 for a dang link skill they deserve that 5% all stats, I don't care what anyone says.

and...DA's Link Skill of 15% Dmg is NOT a balancing issue?
