How does upgrading potentials exactly work?

Lets say, I decide to cube an unique item 10 times with super cubes, and then I cube an unique item with 5 super cubes. BOTH have not been upgraded after the cubing process. Will the item thats been cubed 10 times have a better change of getting legendary pot the NEXT cube, or will both items (10 cubes and 5 cubes) have equal chances of upgrading the NEXT cube? Any help is appreciated. thanks.

Really? I find it funny how I usually always get an upgrade (from epic to unique or from unique to legendary) on my 11th and last cube in the 11 super cube package. xD
