Upgrading cane

So i recently got an empress cane (i have full empress without shoulder already), passed a unique pot on it, and cubed it to 1 line of 9% luk, the other lines are insignificant. It helped my break 100k range buffed with mw 23 without links. With links i should be about 130k.

But the problem i'm facing is that it's clean but i hammered it so i have all 10 slots, so i have a couple options but i'm not sure which one to take. I'm gonna be getting enough 50s on my phantom to scroll by the end of the event september 3rd, i'm at 93 (I need at least 200 for 10 and even more without CS protection). I also have about 48k NX which i want to use for either cubing to legendary or buying protection scrolls. So i can

1) Wait till i have 10 50s to use and scrolls away and hope for the best and try the 2 20% clean slates, then whenever the next event rolls around with clean slates, slate it and try to finish perfect it when there is another 50% event. This way it leaves the NX to buy cubes when they go on special next time to get the cane to a good legendary potential.

2) Get the 10 50s, wait till there is a another shield ward and protection CS special (hopefully in the next 3 months) so i can perfect it one time, but then i would have to buy more NX to cube it and there is no guarantee there will even be any of the 2 special discounts soon.

If discounts don't come within the 3 months i'll have to just scroll with the 10 50s i have and fix it as time goes by.

So Should i just go ahead and scroll without clean slates or any protection scrolls and hope for the best and fix as time goes by, or wait for a protection CS special like there was a couple weeks ago.
