Alright, what if a lot of girls were actually playing guy characters to stay away from the attention (probably not) and being accused of being a G.I.R.L?

I only make girl characters because they have better hair and eye combinations and I enjoy dressing them up in all my unused nx.
Quite a few females I know play guy characters to escape constant harassment though.

Two of my friends play as a guy character but they're girls anyways. It's pretty cool how awesome they are though.
I am a guy on a girl character.
My gf is a girl on a guy character.
It is an RPG, genders and classes are irrelevant, people play the way they want, the only annoyance I have, is when guys make girl characters to gold dig.
Many girls I know make guy characters because they hate being hit on all the time by idiots, and I understand how most of them feel, I get idiots stalking me and saying things to me all the time, it's just annoying.

This isn't an issue anymore ever since every endgame set 120+ is unisex.
My sister did that.
I know a couple of girls that do this. Their reasoning is that they don't want to the constant attention from some maplers
Yup, and I would rather play the characters as their original gender seen in the art and stuff.
I also like the really good male voice acting <3 ...other than ds </3

I like to do this because you get less random attention as a guy, and back then nicely scrolled male armor was more abundant

I used to do this because I thought explorer hair for female chars was ugly. </3 </3

There are quite a few women who play as men on Maplestory. It's not exactly rare.
I have a few friends that do that.
I do that even though my guy characters aren't my mains.
I know a few friends who do this.. are female and play male characters. *shrug*
My friend, before she quit maple, she wanted to make a guy character just for fun lol.
