R.equesting Comment/Edit saves befor.e submit

It is incr.edibly annoying that I sometimes lose several paragraph long posts that took 20-30min to write because when I click 'submit' and error occurs and the entir.e post is lost.

It makes me want to scr.eam sometimes when I try to update my guide! I'm forced to copy+paste the entir.e thing into notepad for fear of losing everything. That is not acceptable for me and certainly not encouraging people to use the site. I'm even copying this thr.ead befor.e I post because I'll be damned if I type it all up again!

Many, many other forums have featur.es like this and I think it's past time Basil got one too. Basil fr.equently and r.epeatedly experiences errors that lose comment/thr.ead posts upon submit and it's just plain ridiculous!

If you've ever lost a post/thr.ead to this please comment so Mr. Basil knows we r.eally want this featur.e!
