Sentiments on the coming revamp

Are you ready for the revamped mechanic?
>Higher DPS
>Uncapped speed/jump
>faster rocket jump
>Tank mode rope climbing
>farther mechanic dash
>One of the best mobbing skills to date
>A payload of 17 lines
>Much larger amplifier aura
with no cooldown, passive healing, and mapwide PDR (not on bosses)!
>damage boosts, critical chance
>Much better survivability
>Cleaner washing machine, manlier tank, nicer animations
>turret summon
>Long range missiles
now can hit other platforms and magnus in the air (finally)
>Able to use other skills while in bossing mode!

But not all is fine and dandy. We lost siege, which we must admit, was powerful.
Hitbox and mobility while bossing is still the same, still a challenging and prohibiting aspect
Using distortion bomb is still questionably not worth its cast time despite damage buff

And no longer can you just press one basic attack key as your damage, the playstyle is more difficult (at least more complex than holding basic attack key)
Homing missiles are our main damage. It is up to the player's skill to remember to consistently keep casting it--while buffing, moving, attacking, summoning, rocket jumping. It is like a separate body that moves with you, but can only launch homing missiles. Throw in IRON-B and maybe a distortion bomb when you get the chance.

It isn't often in Maple when a class's main method of attacking is so changed
Very exciting

I highly recommend those who haven't played mechanic yet to try it before the revamp to get a better taste
of this revamp. FYI we will be getting a link skill that gives invincibility after respawn and give buff duration on our character card..

Thanks for making this post man. Was looking for what character to use the DDOS compensation 2x coupons on since I had no clue.... I'll be using it on my 12x mech to train him. Thanks man you got me exciited!

At 6:58, while he is in tank mode his critical chance is 83%. At a previous time he opens his stat window, it is 33%

It is stated that the tank mode gives 50% extra critical chance, albeit a glitch has made it not shown in the stat window

Tank currently gives 20% crit to only it's basic attacks. The revamp implies that tank will gain a 50% crit rate to all skills that tank can use.

Wasnt it 20%? Btw, Im tired of waiting for mech revamp and I tried a lot to play on Korea but I cant make acc/download, its so hard to me, any site with this revamp videos that arent on youtube, or a priv server where they have this revamp released?

I'd have to disagree, too many of our active effects of the auras will be reduced to lesser passives, plus no BKB spam, and we won't cap on speed with the faf staff.

More survivability? Yes please! Mechs are way too squishy (considering they're in giant metal suits). I'm also hoping that Mechs need less keyboard space now for all their skills... because let's face it, the number of skills you needed to put on your keyboard to use all the buffs, turrets/stations, individual skills for both transformations and so-on was just stupid.

By payload I mean the standard combo of IRONB (8 lines) and homing missiles (9 lines). Goes to 26 lines with that hyper lol

We should expect the second Black Heaven chapter at the end of April

As excited as I am I don't expect a mass exodus to the mechanic class. THough improved it is still inferior to those classes who can eek out many lines in a short amount of time and are much more mobile

Can't wait to play and discover things with missiles. Also, I think the hitbox has been horizontally reduced to match the characters' hitbox. I won't miss siege too much, as it was often a burden for being a standing state and a form for which you could not do much else and had to switch between far too often.
