It's a great story, I'm watching the anime right now and I'm not that far in but I'm liking it a lot. Even though I know they're gonna end up winning anyways.
I don't know how to word this but even though I already know what the outcome is I enjoy watching what happens before it.

I personally believe they found a way out of it alive.

It was just so sudden though. I was like okay, cool...then at the end of the chapter, wait what, 7 year time skip? The build up to event is way too sudden..
I know they won't die since this is a shounen action and we all know main, young heroes don't die.

You know, this manga would be truly epic if they DID all just randomly die O-o

The girl in the middle was obviously a fairy. She looked like one and they said that spot had a legend that fairies used to reside there. Additionally, the fairy MAY have teleported them to safety, PERHAPS 7 years into the future where we see Romeo, Macao's child stare out to the sea.
