how to make straight hair curly?

To be honest it has more to do with the way the hair is cut than it does with teh styling. The only thing that guy did after the cut was comb it back with some product. If you hair is long enough right now get it cut that way and give it a few washes. If it still isnt cooperating you can always opt for a curling shampoo and iron if you have that pin straight asian hair.
Braid ur hair into as many braids as you want while it's damp. Keep it like that for atleast 2 hours? Un-braid ur hair and bam, u got wavy hair.
Note: You may look like an idiot with ur hair all braided like that, but it works.
