The last map in leafre, start that quest the girl in the cage gives you for transformation potion.
You'll need to kill manon for a cry, 1 mythril plate, 10 dragon skins [pink ones], rustydagger etc.
Trade those in and you can transform.
However, you need 6 ppl to do the PQ to get to HT. so don't finish the quest till you have 5 others going with you and have completed the quest requirements.
When ready, all of you gather back at the map, turn in the quest items and transform.
Go down the map and it will prompt you to enter the cave.

Generally you are finding keys by killing monsters as you progress through the cave and dropping it in the light thing near the locked portal so the person outside can unlock it for you.
Otherwise, get someone with the dragon badge and make a filler expedition to skip the hassle of the pq and go straight to HT.
