Impeccable Memory already 30?

As I recall, I thought renegade coin event was over. so i was wrong. i bought 1 20 and 2 30s. and some canes. then i used the 20cuz it seemed useless at the time. so I sold the 2 30s and then I suddenly have impeccable memory 30. What in the world happened? Or I just forgot what I did.
