You're looking up random words in the dictionary and come across the word "potteresque"
From my giant Collins dictionary: Potteresque - adj resembling or suggestive of scenes and situations described in the Harry Potter novels of UK writer JK Rowling (born 1965).
Do you think that really needed to be in the dictionary?

I don't see why not. It's a perfectly cromulent word.
Out of all the slang words, they put in one that is never used by anyone...

Just imagine centuries from now when people discover artifacts from our era, and a strange word pops up:
"potteresque"
How grateful would historians be for having that term defined in a dictionary? Not very, it seems obvious enough.
