Nintendo also tweeted that they're all alive...

The tsunami almost knocked it over. They fixed it, though. Thank goodness. We'll be waiting, Godzilla.

It's an inside joke.

@LOLfwappz:
Yeah you can.
Just the irony is my comment, and emphasizing on 'worse'.
I mean I don't want to make this a religion debate so i'll end it there.

Japan can get through it. I consider them to be very strong-minded. When they have a goal, they'll complete it no madder how hard and how long it will take.
No, I'm not considerate. Firstly, when the flood affected Australia - no one really gave a damn, anyway - I didn't really care if people made fun of it. There's a jovial side to everything. And oversensitive people irk me, so I suppose you're right. However, I really think that if people are so easily offended they should just stop for a minute and realise that it was only meant as a joke and is not intended to afflict them deeply. Unfortunately, most people say, "YOUR LEVITY IS INSULTING" and call the person ignorant, and end up making a - pardon the expression - mountain out of a molehill.
The title wasn't even meant to be a joke lol. Owned is pretty much regular vocabulary. Would y'all rather have me say "Jpan is getting destroyed" or " Japan is experiencing hardcore deja
vu in the category of devastation"

If you used that thread title in my civics class, you'll get cut.

Pick a better word instead of owned please, it sounds mean. But yea I guess the word does kinda fit with the situation. I wish the best to Japan

While I do agree that not everything should be taken so seriously, there are certain subjects where discretion is the best approach. And where would you draw the line between being considerate and being oversensitive?

EDIT: Also, to the people with family in Japan, my condolences to you all.
ITT: Oversensitive people getting offended because of the word 'owned'. Learn to take a joke.

OT: It's amazing how such a devastating string of events can unfold within such a short period of time. Japan is probably in chaos right now.
I wouldn't really call them overly-sensitive. Some people have a real cause to be concerned, such as having family in Japan. It's a bit insensitive to play off their troubles as a joke.

Poor Japan, I wish them good luck.
The only good thing is that they at least have money.

~ I hope Japan will get good over this

I feel this thread would be a lot more necessary without the word "owned" in the title.
