I just got my first tattoo

It's really nerdy but it has some personal significance. It's a serotonin molecule on my inner bicep.

Here it is: http://i.imgur.com/Ud7EkzQ.jpg
How do you feel about those who are interested in drug culture AND science and want to get a drug molecule tattoo?
My opinion is that if drug use is the most important aspect of your identity, you need to find a hobby.
I can't disassociate chemical structure tats from those kids that are really into drug culture and get a THC/MDMA/whatever molecule inked on them. Objectively cool idea, but sadly tainted by losers.
I guess scrubs or a white coat would be a good sign.

That's pretty cool. I want a neuron tattoo, but I'd have no idea where to put it.. Something like this would be cool.
dude that's freaking cool
i think the tree of life would be sweet around the wrist area, but since you're wearing scrubs the second best place would probably be upper chest
I really want a double helix around my wrist since it'll be concealable by a watch. But yeah, if I wasn't going to be a doctor, a forearm tattoo would be pretty cool.

Chemistry is my least favorite class ever. But psychology is where I learned about seratonin...hmmm
Why seratonin anyway?
Tree of life is a great idea, plus it's pretty abstract in its raw state.
One of my classmates got it and he said it reminds him that "The world is always changing and competition is cutthroat; I have to adapt to survive"
I've considered getting a tattoo for a while. My choices were always a neurotransmitter or Darwin's original tree of life sketch. I ended up choosing serotonin but I really want to get the tree of life maybe on my upper chest or forearm sometime. It's just hard because it needs to be concealable when I wear scrubs since patients don't like inked doctors >_<

Line drawing. It was hilarious because the guy who did it was also a science major and when I asked him for progress, he said "I finished the aromatic ring and i'm working on the amino group now"
