When is the best time to use death star?

Is it best to use it once a boss is summoned and then spam QT throw?
or
Is it better to use Death star every 10 sec( Server lag) and continue spamming?

I feel like option one is better because of the delay in DS then having to switch to QT.
Like @Night0fSorrow said, it would only be better than QT if you hit over cap with it on 1v1. Otherwise, it's detrimental to your DPS. QT's full potential is limited by our current damage cap.

The delay for QT at faster (2) speeds is 600 ms. I'm not sure how you couldn't find that since it's listed all over an extraction site like Southperry. For comparison's sake, the delay for Four Seasons at faster (2) speeds is 780 ms.

I did some rough calculations of my own, and concluded that Quintuple Throw with Reinforce is about 650% more than Four Seasons PER SECOND with both skills at faster (2) speeds. QT wins by a landslide without even accounting for the extra 20% Boss Damage.

Quintuple Throw with Reinforce only is about 4981% per second at faster (2) speeds. Four Seasons is about 4327% per second at faster (2) speeds.
Thanks a bunch!
Maybe whenever you can hit multiple things outside of cooldown. I think the DPS on it's better than Quad Star even with all the hypers for it, so you could even do it whenever the cooldown's over.
EDIT: Quad Star is roughly 2408%/second with all the hypers for it against a boss, and Death Star is 2451%/second, both with Normal(6) speed, since I couldn't find the delay on Quad Star with a Fast(2) speed...
Hmm good question IMO, but I think it's best to spam Death Star when possible only if you do more than max (999 999) damage with it. Otherwise, for single target mobs or bosses, I think QT wins the day.

On bosses it hits more than three times stronger than my qt
It doesnt take 3 qts time to cast death star once
So, whenever possible

I normally use it when the boss summons monsters. I would use it whenever I see that it has cooled down.

Once it's aimed at Alderaan.

OT: Maybe whenever you can hit multiple things outside of cooldown. I think the DPS on it's better than Quad Star even with all the hypers for it, so you could even do it whenever the cooldown's over.
