Error - Another Instance is running

Recently, everytime I've tried to run maplestory, an error keeps popping up after hackshield runs that another instance of the program is already running, but nothing is. I've redownloaded maplestory once already, but the problem still presists.
People have said look in my processes if "maplestory" or "maplestory32" is running and close it, but I dont see anything there.
I think this started around the time where I got that skype virus/keylogger that's going around now as well. I downloaded Malewarebytes during then, so would that be causing the problem?

Any help would be appreciated. I'd throw in a small reward to whoever can help
Thanks =D

Are there any programs that are related to maplestory or hackshield that might be under a different name? I've also tried deleting and replacing the hackshield and black cipher folders

System restore doesn't rid your system of viruses, there's a reason AntiVirus costs money o.o

I'm not sure what to do in your case if you've already restarted your comp
Try attempting to system restore to the point before you caught the virus. And have you fully removed it yet? I usually scan my computer with AVG+MalwareBytes+Spyware S&D+CCleaner when in doubt. Takes care of the job. ^.^

If that doesn't work...I'd reformat the whole thing.
I've done all that, and the problem still presists. I've scanning with malewarebytes and deleted all the programs, and then used CCleaner to scan my computer and clean my registry.
Any other ideas?
