Does Windows 10 boost game experience?

If I upgrade to windows 10, would my overall gaming power increase, meaning would some games would run much faster, etc?

Not a whole lot. You'll start noticing a huge difference once developers make games utilizing Direct X12 (Win7~8.1 uses Direct X11).

@battleox288: Yea it will, but it doesn't really matter that much to me since I can't see much of a difference since I have a gaming rig. =/
You won't notice that much of a difference if you were on windwos 8.1/8, but if you jumped from windows 7 ~> 10 you'll notice a difference. Windows 10 supposedly helps improve the game as it takes memory from background programs and uses it on the game you're playing.
I'm currently on windows 7, so would the increase be quite substantial?

My Ragnarok Online performance increased due to Windows 10.
I noticed that changing between resolutions is smoother as well due to other full screen games.

Same answer in the other Windows 10 thread
