New niche for basil?
Since FM is going away and the max meso cap at auction house is 30bil, which is nowhere near enough the value of several coveted items..
You think Basil could revive its auction system to handle these highly priced items? Perhaps people selling these items can use the auction system again, and also offer other items on top of mesos to buy these items. Also add the reputation thing again, to know if the guy is a scammer or something.
Maple has no way of publicly displaying an item that is not immediately for sale other than the item megaphone (which only shows for a very limited time).
I actually think this site can find a niche there, but I'm pessimistic that @mrbasil would dust off this site and start updating again. The slow load times here is pretty bad. Maybe it's not worth it for the 10(?) people who happen to have an item worth over 30bil who plans to sell it.
Do I even care? I guess I'm more into "how are people gonna sell their frenzy totems now?" I'm all for 30bil totems and broids though.

Out of curiousity (i play in Reboot, so i have to be just curious), what are the items that are over 30 bil ?? Personally i hink the cap should be 100 bil, but thats just me.
That is actually an interesting idea. I would like to see it come back. It might not be worth it though as you said.
Lets travel back in time. When Basilmarket was an actual market. It was fun. I think MrBasils is smart enough ()IT wise that is) to make it work again.

Yeah I think Basil might be a good place for it. I can't really see the subreddit working out since posts aren't organized into sections over there. It'll take a small amount of effort on Mr. Basil's part though so it's unlikely.
