What really needs to be said here is: A character name for a video game doesn't have to frickin make sense. Stop trolling the forums. In case you didn't know, trolling is against the rules.

@potatobubs: I'm glad that my explanation made you happy. However, I am not satisfied because of the numerous variables that can be created by a name with any combination of the words zero, divide, in a different iteration.

Such as the word DivideByZero rather than ZeroByDivide.

You most definitely can divide by zero. You just can't divide by zero and obey the field axioms.

Personally speaking, the perfect name for Zero is Zero. Duh.

"ZeroByDivide" is a reasonable name for the class Zero.

Ask yourself: "What is the one thing that distinguishes Zero from other classes?"

Currently that name is held by the famous #2 ranked player (which I am certain you are alluding to in your post). The owner of the name is not a Zero, but a Luminous. And in this case, makes no sense to me.

The word divide is not used in the context of mathematics. To clarify:
by: identifying the agent performing an action.
divide: separate or be separated into parts.

Digression:
I want to post the following joke in a light-hearded manner: "Stay in school kids," but the kind of thinking needed to reason why a particular ign is practical is not taught in school, for obvious reasons. My light-hearted joke would then be considered a cold-hearted insult implying you are a moron for not having any common sense.

I will give you an extreme example of what I mean:
ExamplePerson watches Batman. ExamplePerson is discontent because the hero did not fight evil with a bat (used in baseball). ExamplePerson complains on imdb.com . RandomInternetPerson reads comment and quickly points out ExamplePerson's ignorance and replies with "The word bat can also be used to describe an animal."
