why cant I do gollux

I'm level 160, 106% boss damage, 58% PDR 100k range trying to do easy gollux and every time and I can't.
1. my hits are missing
2. my damage does literally nothing
3. i keep dying
I'm watching easy gollux on youtube and I'm seeing noobs completely wreck him. Am I fighting a harder gollux and not knowing? I killed every part of the body, abs shoulders arms legs everything not one evil spirit inside and I still can't touch him.

edit: yeah i was doing hard/hell mode. oops
Yes. That will make it the harder version but give the easier version drops. Never enter the head and then kill another body part.
Well, it's a bad idea in general, but if you need to abort your run for some reason (leecher died/dced/etc) you can transform a full run into a farming one by doing this.

It's your PDR since its too low. A quick fix would be to switch skills.
Example: If you are using arrow blaster, switch it to Frozen Orb or another skill and you'll do more damage.
There are certain ways to do gollux which gives you easy, normal, hard and hell mode. Those people on YouTube are able to kill it so fast with no problem is because they killed the shoulders and other parts of gollux before facing the head. To make it the following modes:

Easy: Kill all 3 parts of gollux, abdomen, shoulders, lastly head.
Normal: Kill 2 parts of gollux
Hard: Kill 1 part of gollux
Hell: Enter straight to the head.

Keep in mind you may of been facing hard or hell mode gollux which is why you did absolutely nothing.
Tip: don't enter the head before killing the abdomen/shoulders.

Also the legs aren't a part of Gollux, they're only convenient for travelling up to the abdomen.

To do easy mode you just have to kill the stomach and the two shoulders. I would watch videos for how to do your specific class at gollux and then practice! Gollux is one of the few maple bosses where damage is not the only factor, but control is also important.

I have trouble at lv 185 Xenon. I usually lag entering the abs and if I die once im basically screwed because theres no way to re-buff.

Same with the head, when it dies I usually lag in the middle and get hit by his OHKO shout.

But all you should be doing is killing his abs, left and right shoulders, then head on your last run. Also I would recommend getting another 10~20 levels and make sure most/all your skills are maxed.

1) your level

3) your control sucks
