MapleStory 2 A fresh start
Maplestory seems like it lost it's way some time long ago, and ever since, we've just been getting really abstract updates. Like they got carried away and are just rushing things out the door because they're trying to fix so much all at once. With Maplestory 2 though, do you think we will get to experience that composure MS1 had before? Will the art style remain linear? Will the story not be scrapped and redone repeatedly? Will they actually not rehash old content with crappy color scheme changes?
I mean that new aqua hell place or whatever is just a train wreck. It looks like something from a pizza slice where they just throw in what we already have and add a filter on top.
I played MS1 throughout my childhood, will I and others get hooked and play MS2 throughout my adult hood? hmmmm hmmm hmmmm so many questions

if you guys wanted to play a 3d mmorpg why are all you playing a 2d game in the first place

Guys Nexon is not even making Maplestory 2! Another company is...
We might not even get it and it could jus be a Korean exclusive.
Sadly, it will still be a Nexon affair.
So expect everything to revolve around bring in Cash.
Maple could be great if they just stopped bringing out new classes to get people to buy 2x exp, and other cash grabs and thought about one major rebuild of the game mechanics, classes, and background components for memory management and such.
Still a 3d maplestory will be interesting to see.
For now, nexon shows no intention of bringing out maplestory 2. Besides, don't u think the current maplestory is literally a sequel to the maplestory 8 years ago?
Since Maplestory2 is 3d I have high hopes there WILL be pvp implemented. Which will obviously work.
I think Mabinogi is boring but Mabinogi Heroes fun.
