Nexons desperate attempt to bring back players by unbanning
Is this what it has come down to? They can't throw out a few more commercials? Their newcomer player base has become stagnant and so now they are unbanning everyone?

Nexon screws up all the time. More likely than not, this "second chance" is just a way for them to unban legit players without losing face. They talk about dupers and "first time offenders" in their announcement like their banning system is infallible, but we all remember how many people were autobanned for no reason, and few can forget the notorious GM Skelorm, that notorious customer service representative who looked at many innocent players' ban appeals and called them liars to their faces. After losing so many people that way, there's no way Nexon can come out and say "yeah, our bad." So they bring out a "second chance" initiative that lets them undo their past wrongs while appearing benevolent and forgiving, instead of incompetent and wishy washy.
Even if some notorious dupers return, it isn't like they wouldn't have just been duping on an alternate account anyway. You guys are forgetting how stupidly easy it is to evade this game's ban system. Cheaters don't care when their accounts are banned; they expect it to happen after a while, and when it finally does they just make an alt account, fire up their old cheating tools, and bounce back in a week. With how many people have quit recently, I'm willing to bet at least half of those people don't even play the game anymore.

This is Nexon's way of saying that everyone should dupe because there's no consequences.
More duped items = more money for Nexon (spent on cubing those duped items).

TELL ME ABOUT IT! Honestly, how the bleep does a GM miss al of them..! All it takes is one stroll around hoh to ban dozens of people.. And dont even get me started about the fm!
It isn't unbanning everyone though....Noone got unbanned yet until they do something about it. if you read the announcement, those that suffered bans through minor offenses, they have to appeal their ban themselves through customer support. So basically noone gets unbanned because we all know that nobody will get past customer support to even appeal their ban.
They need to focus more on all the damn botters... I search for legendary veins a lot to get cubes and I see hundreds of botters every day.
What if they're making the game worse to make everyone quit so they got less people to deal with when they shut it down?
Nexon tries to bring some D'ers back.
Or they're trying to just get out of answering a few million unanswered tickets. Probably the quickest way to do that.
