It feels like they finally got a bit smart and went back to thier roots effectively. Will obviously wait for reviews though.

until you look at how well those games sell.

I personally haven't bought a single mario sidescroller since the wii version, and don't think I ever will.
3D World was amazing though.

Been a long time Sonic fan since '93.... and I gave up hope and tolerance with Sonic Boom.. this doesn't bring up anything. Sega just needs to drop Sonic Boom.
I honestly want them to retry the Lost World formula.
It has so much potential.
Just look at that Hyrule level and Windy Hill.
So much fun.
