I'm pretty sure he wasn't nitpicking at the word "funny" but more along the lines of asking why that person found the fact that "people need 2x to level up", funny. And situations such as people slipping on a banana and falling is not a common one , so the only reason I said cartonishly is because it isn't common and it usually only happens in cartoons. But hey, who knows, maybe he was nitpicking the word "funny", maybe he wasn't. We can't decide that, but I'm merely stating the alternative to what he might have been saying. I interpreted as that, and i'm sure many other people have too.

It's not that hard to explain really... the person who said that found it funny how people depend on 2x just to level up when they can do it independently without it too. Your comparison is really way off, you wouldn't just randomly laugh at "its funny how people need 2x to level up". As much as I dislike seeing Nexon host 2x EXP weekends on a weekly basis, I suppose it's fitting for this weekend, since it's Labor Day and all, not to mention school starts for some people the day after the three day weekend. I suppose this is their last chance to enjoy maple, until around Christmas time?
