if I do 3000 points from star planet, can I still get points from bossing.. I heard the daily cap was 3000

if I do 3000 points from star planet, can I still get points from bossing.. I heard the daily cap was 3000

the cap for bossing and star planet are separate.
I think the cap for bossing is 3000 and star planet is 1500.
