'Hot time event' site posted by xMadarax

Anyone who went to the "Hot Time Event" site posted by xMadarax and entered their information should
CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW

It was a "phishing" site intended to STEAL YOUR ACCOUNT.

If you went to the site but didn't enter anything (or entered fake info), then you're OK.
It wasn't a "keylogger", it was just trying to get you to enter your login info.

If you DID enter your info, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY or you'll lose your account.

Yeah, I guess double quotes just get lost in the ozone...

Hopefully nobody was gullible enough to fall for this scam, but you never know.

@6ppl3m6g3 That's probably a good idea. The guide we have now is about not getting scammed in the game, but with all the slimeballs trying to steal accounts these days, something about security on the site would probably be helpful too.

Maybe Basil should have a sticky on safety precautions. Curiosity killed the cat, and apparently Basilers have the mentality of a cat.
