It is only hard if you take AP.
ur classes are so easy.........
i didnt sleep much because of my APs
you're still on basil? i remember when people spammed questions on your ask fm
OT: English will take up a lot of time and PreCal is a bit hard. Other than that, you have an easy year! Unless you forgot to tell us that most of what you took was AP
It'll be your hardest year up to now but it'll be easy. I don't see any AP / IB classes there so you should be chillin
Based on your course selection, I think you'll do fine.
I mean you might have multiple quizzes and assignments on the same day, but it shouldn't be too bad.
When I was in gr 11, I took bio 12, chem 11 and physics 11 so it was killer.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy your year. ~
Getting a good mark in Marketing is easy. Getting a good amount of money from it is what requires the most work.
Every other course you're taking is fairly straight-forward, though if you aren't a math guy, Pre-calc 11 might kill you.
If pro-cooking is anything like regular foods, your success depends almost entirely on the quality of your cooking partner.
I'll break it down for you assuming you're from BC.
First Semester:
1: English 11 - if you're not already good at writing, this may take up a bit of time
2:Social Studies 11 - easy and you have a provincial for this too
3: PE 11 - it's gym...
4: Marketing 11 - no personal exp
Second Semester:
1: Precalculus 11 - you a math guy? then easier than math 10
2: Earthscience 11 - easy
3: Entrepreneurship 11 - no idea
4: Professional Cooking 11 - there are idiots that have gone through cooking school, so I'm sure you'll get through this 5 month course easily
tldr you have an easy year, just do your work

dayum
Updated with course list
Out of the 4 years there it's probably the hardest of all of them. Relatively speaking of course.
i didnt sleep much because of my APs
kkkkkkkkkk
I took my first ap classes on 11th grade. Ap Calc AB, Ap Literature, and Ap Psychology. And my non ap classes was physiology, some history class, and chemistry. Honestly taking these classes was difficult but it was fun because of the labs I was able to do on physiology and chemistry. I was able to pass them all with A and B, you just need to do all the homework and some memorization. Overall all classes weren't that bad when I look back on it. This was also the year that I began to join clubs too, only two Photography and some school events planner club.
If you didn't do well previous year, you need to fix it because every year does get harder. But not like rocket science hard, just a step harder.
No one's even mentioned ap classes so that really worries me. Generally speaking junior year is the most difficult year in that you would take a decent amount of ap classes and also be taking the SAT/ACT. So yeah, depending on if you signed up for ap classes it'll be harder but if you didn't then it should be easier.
OP Didn't mention AP classes or not so a lot of people would assume if he wanted it to be 'easy' as he questioned then it's not completely out of the ordinary if we assume OP is AP-less.
However, AP classes will make every year a living hell no matter what grade you are in(although AP Physics and Chem are recommended for Jr.&Sr. tgey would ruin your year more than other classes would).
My cumulative GPA after junior year was 2.9. Also the only year I've ever got a D.
Physics and the (completely unnecessary to graduate and spontaneously signed up for) anatomy class I took (almost got a D in both, pure luck saved me in physics) really took their toll on me.
English was with my favorite English teacher ever, and I had him freshman year too, so that was fine.
I also took yearbook, and that became super stressful eventually, but I made a good female friend (major crush for a while) in there, and taking it senior year.
Math was just another class I got C's in, not very memorable that year.
I don't remember what else. But I had joined link crew and yearbook, and I got way better socially, and I had a buttload of fun messing around with my friends. So, the classes were harder than sophomore or freshman year, but it was still fun.

My thoughts exactly. Taking 2 AP classes rn in grade 11 with trigonometry (which is harder than both ap classes so far) and my practice ACT results didn't meet my college requirements, and I have the PSAT in a couple weeks. Kill me with a rock.

As long as you attend all your classes you should be fine.
It's typically the year you take the SATs imo it's the hardest bc senior year you chill af after you finish ur college apps
high school is all very easy
but I'd say for me, junior year had the most strain. academically and emotionally. you're probably gonna get super depressed some time in between
harder than gr.9 and 10, but overall it isnt as bad as you might think. if you're taking science, expect it to be harder than gr.9/10. the rest were a little above gr.9/10. english is also harder than gr.9/10. you start to write more essays and have to finish many books plus all your other course work. time management is key in gr.11 and beyond; you might have gone away without doing much in gr.9/10 but gr.11 is where the student expectation goes high.
well according to adults it's an important year? hard is dependent.
all four years felt the same to me.
depends on
- courses you're taking
- what kind of student you are
my experience was that it was tough af cause i was a bad student. senior year was easier but you should get into the habit of being a tryhard now so that you're prepared when you have to get on the studying grind
Science courses are definitely harder than grade 9 and 10. Grade 11 is when they split the science courses up into physics, chemistry, and biology. And they're all pretty hard. At least in my book. Make sure to ask lots of questions. Ask anything that you don't know.
English depends on your teacher. English is one of my greatest weaknesses. Your marks will vary greatly depending on your teachers, unlike math courses and physics. People that are good in English will have a more steady English mark in the long run.
The normal math course shouldn't be that much harder than the grade 10s. But if you suck at math, then it's definitely going to be harder.
No. ez.
It will probably be more difficult compared to the other years assuming you have a decent schedule, but in the long run its a total joke.
Well it depends on what courses you are taking.....
