No, it is not the return of dr bing event [b]because it is not exclusive [/b]
2nd the dr bing event affected maple world, not just NLC.
3rd if you bother reading the questline, the people were not aliens, they were simply people from the future coming to the present (reason why they are dress like that is because the future is polluted)
NLC monsters are alien if you read that questline too, so more likely it is an expansion of NLC.
