Gms really needs an auction house
I recently decided to play maple again, and after playing many other MMO's i realized how stupid the FM system actually is.
In the past, you could trade manually with people, because there where a ton of people in the FME so there was a pretty decent change that you would find a buyer for your item. However, the FME is almost completely empty nowadays, at almost all times. So its really hard to find any buyers. Its almost impossible to make money in this game without NX.
So, your second option is to buy a store permit. 1.9k nx for 90 days is very reasonable, no complaints at all. However, if you wanna use it, you have to stop playing the game and do something else, and if you wanna have a good change of selling your stuff you have to leave your PC on overnight, just to sell some stuff. Pretty annoying huh.
Last option is are Mushies. 9.9k for 14 days. That may not sound a lot, but if we look at the NX:Meso ratio, i dont even know what it is nowadays, but the price for a mushy in mesos would probably be somewhere between 750m - 1b. The thing is, that most people dont even make above 750m every 2 weeks, so they would be better off just selling the NX. Also, some of us dont wanna spend 20k every month on a game that is supposed to be free.
Why is it so hard to just have an action house of some sort? Almost every game has it, and it would make things so much easier. The weirdest thing is that KMS actually got one, but i heard that it stinks. I would almost start a petition on the official forums but i dont feel like its gonna do anything haha.
I know that there are a lot of complaints abpit maplestory, but this is in my opinion one of the biggest things the game lacks. What do you guys think?

They updated the Granny merchants to only cost 20k for a 30 day version, which comes out to 667 NX a day (60-70m a day). If you're able to boss and even if you do nothing but Empress, you only have to sell 1-2 things a day and you've already made your money back.
I've heard they're working out bugs, but I wouldn't hold my breath about getting it.
I personally don't look forward to its release. Why? Because I'm afraid that, since it's an auction and all, the prices will go up even higher the more people bid on it. This potentially can mean we pay more for something than we do now. I also don't like having to wait to buy something. With the release of the auction house, less people will use mushies/stores and suddenly buying an item becomes a price battle. NOT FUN.
I understand why people want it, but I'm still afraid of the greed that'll come with it. It may make things worse than they are. Though it does have the capability of producing the opposite effect, it's unlikely. .
Shame the MTS got removed because of a bunch of greedy individuals who always ruin things for everyone else... They're not even interested in actually playing the game either, just comes to show how sad their life really is. Auction house will eventually be implemented, but as we all know nexon will take their sweet time and bring it out in one of their major updates to create the biggest hype, in the hope that it'll bring in more fresh or returning older players. They'll of course introduce other things to do with the auction house that requires nx i'm sure of that!

Then, don't lowball all your offers? Though if you want to get a response for sure just say you're interested in buying and want to talk about it more/add on BL.
If they could just make Mushies the price of shop permits, and make Owls infinite use so we don't have to burn one every time, I would be content.

@fradddd: Well I had to play Maple for 12+hour a day to see these results. Can't look around for an hour a day and expect to make easy meso. Just need to learn what sells quickly and how much profit you are willing to make on something for it to be worth your time.

Anyway, yeah, I agree TS. After playing Dragon Nest and seeing all the options free players have over there, it's been really difficult to just accept the way maple is run.

@Business: I quit last October and came back two weeks ago. I merched CSS, Epic Pots, Chaos of Goodness, Spell Traces (not anymore deflated like hell). Once I got up to a good amount of meso I started buying scroll and cubed items and reselling those.

MTS was the old auction house, but the coding had multiple vulnerabilities that allowed people to hack and gain hundreds of mesos. They seem to be unable to fix the coding and thus cannot re-release MTS.
I hate trading outside the fm on ch 1, I cant get into it because I always lag

For how long did you quit? I used to be pretty good at merching but all the prices changed so much o.o Teach me your ways master!
Also, The problem is that i cant leave my pc on at night, and its kinda stupid in the first place that you have to leave your computer on at night to sell decent.

Yeah we were supposed to get it awhile ago. Apparently they took it down to fix it or something. Don't know when it'll ever be working, if ever.
