True and not true. I haven't read the manga but the anime hasn't gone in the best of directions. If you read the manga though, you will despise it. If it was just anime, it'd be a 7 or 8/10.

I'm enjoying the anime thus far on a shallow level.

Not all anime end with 100% happy endings and two people hooking up. This is essentially my view on Akama Ga Kill! as a TRUE anime fan: the way that they killed off characters (both on the Jaegars and Night Raid sides) was extremely clever- they did it without instantly sacrificing least to most favorite in sequential order. The anime built the characters in a way similar to a beauty pageant or reality dating show, in which as more and more characters died, there would eventually be two or three left standing that we'd pick favorites among to "survive" further. The choice in these characters and their relation with one another was very well implemented and I thoroughly enjoyed this anime.

This is officially the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I seriously want to know what's going through the author's head right now and whether or not he actually wanted all this crap to happen.

It was stated somewhat early in the anime when they introduced Imperial Arms that no imperial arms can revive a person from the dead.

The manga is called akame ga kill so... i wouldn't be surprised if that means akame is the last one standing.

Edit: Golden incursio vs. incursio v2 in manga (latest chapter) wonder which one is better (stronger, mobile etc etc - Food for thought). Tatsumi was the real mvp. Been dropping too many tears this weekend with SAO and now AGK.
