I have a 2486 score personally, and I would hate to lose, cause it takes like 30 games to get back the points of one loss to a newbie 2000 pointer.

It gets harder and harder to obtain points. I believe when I was at 25xx points, anyone with 21xx and under would not give me points when I beat them while I lose like 20-40 points if by a stroke of luck they win.
This is also the reason why I stopped playing; finding someone that is a worthy challenge is rare in the nowadays Maple
