He was advised by an operator, not an officer. Big difference. Not following orders from an operator is not illegal, therefore has no affect on the outcome.

And as pointed out numerous times (even by people on basil), he didn't profile Treyvon by race, until he was asked by the operator.

The reason it got attention was because Treyvon was black and it was a selling point for the media to twist it, and make it seem like the case itself was about racism, instead of whether or not Zimmerman's actions were within what is described in the "Stand your ground" law, which they clearly were.

The stupid media made it about race. Fact is, if Treyvon was white, this case would have never got the attention that it did. It was just an opportunity for media to sell some more white vs. black crap, when white people had nothing to do with it.

There was CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence against Zimmerman.
