D.Khanjars are the secondary weaps for Shads, the secondary weapon you're thinking of is a Katara.
D.Khanjars = Shields
Katara = Katara

Dragon Khanjar is a shield, not a DB equip.
@richaf: Look at my shield lol. I'm wearing a demon aegis that has been fused with a D.Khanjar. As long as the item is a shield, you can fuse your demon aegis with it.

I anviled to black demon aegis and got snowflake shield for two different outfits.
Keep it the same!

I find it a shame that the aegis before 4th job ones can't be anvilled, otherwise I'd opt for those.
Aegis is best.
No good looking shields o-o
I personally like how the aegis looks
