Is there a way to wash braided hair?
I want to wash my hair but it's braided, I basically have it braided in small individual pieces, there are about 36 of them and then I knot my hair. It's almost like a Shikamaru look but with braided hair. I just braided them yesterday and idk how to wash them because I want them for a good week until I cut my hair short again. Any ideas? I was thinking water and soap and then running in between the braids then padding it down, then running it with water again then drying it?

@yearn: Why would I go through a 2hour sitting to get my hair braided properly and then undo them after a day. That's so pointless.
undo the braids? i don't see a problem here

i don't suggest applying shampoo because the shampoo probably wouldn't get washed out properly
you could try the acv which is apple cider vinegar and a bunch of luke warm water, which is a common way for people with dreads. however you don't wash everyday
wet hair, apply shampoo, lather, rinse?
