I'm still hoping they'll change their mind about releasing the smaller n3ds

The only exclusive game that has been announced for the n3DS is Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, and that isn't even out yet. Everything else can be played by the other systems in the 3DS family.

OT: Where I'm from, they've been sold out since like the 2nd day of launch for basically a 30 mile radius. I was lucky enough to snag one of the last ones in the area.

There were like 7 left in the store when I went to buy one.

@LokiTheStrange: No it really doesn't. I can play it fine as is, but at least especially for MGS3DS

I just want to finally play a game in 3d....

I am only interested in the "New" N3DS because I own 5 games that benefit from the 2nd analog stick. The rest are just pokemon games.

You can play all 3ds games on the 2ds unless it's noted to be exclusive for the N3DS.

Thats what happens when they release Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and LOZ 3D around the same time.

There was a shipping strike in NA that was recently lifted. Nintendo products were reportedly impacted by it.
