No, sabeye definitely needed it. The mega only makes it decent, so it still can't keep up with other good pokemon.
no, the mega will probably make it worse since it forces you to waste an item slot and a mega slot. the way sableye is now is already good
its mega base stats will still be abysmal. megas only get +100 bst, so it'll go from 380 to 480... whoopee... the only stat is useful for sableye is its def&spdef. even if it gets a higher defensive stat, its hp will still be base 50... which is pretty useless. if it gets an attack boost, it's still super slow and will die to almost anything, especially with no focus sash. and most people use sableye for prankster, so raising its speed wouldn't really help. i don't think anybody would be using mega sableye, especially since they'll have to forgo a mega slot for it. unless it gets some OP ability like wonderguard... then that changes everything.
This was basically the idea, half of you saying he really needed it are not experienced yes his design is nice but not needed

Yeah, Sableye definitely needed the mega. I hope it gives it a stat boost worthy of becoming viable.

I was more concerned with the new groudon form and that its ground and fire type. Why do you hate groudon so much nintendo making it 4x weak to water and trumped by kyogre D:

mega sableye wont be used unless it's the first one acquired in story mode

it was needed because it's the counterpart to mawile and version-exclusive megas are A Thing to game freak now apparently

besides it's cool as hell so you can stop talking tbh

well... venusaur, charizard, blastoise, mewtwo, tyranitar, etc. aren't from 6th gen region and they got megas
and if sableye really got a mega, then i agree, it wasn't needed... unless it gets some massive bulk increase or something, since its offense is pretty much useless
