So.. Hi there. Forum dead. As a master race, We can't let it die. Let's discuss the coming updates.
A little summary..
* New Hyper Stats.
* Fullmetal Jacket: +20% Damage
* Captain's Diginity: +30 Attack (& Also they're finally fixing the final attack)
* RF Hyper Boost: 20% > 30%
* Faster Buffs casting.

Did I miss anything important?

Are these boosts gonna help you a lot? A little? Not at all? Share pls. -Cough- @SnailPresident -Cough-
Personally, I'm gonna be able to cap 100% of time with these changes.
Also hopefully they make Majestic Presence same as it came out at day 1.

@simplyhim just saying, if you have points added to critical now you'll have to make up the 10% somewhere somehow.

@twopointonefour: It's relatively easy to get 100% crit on Corsair IMO. So putting hyper points into crit isn't the best option.

@twopointonefour: I have 90% crit, And with SE its 100%. And obiously I don't boss without SE.

@crizit I think you're better off putting the points your going to put into dex into critical instead.

@twopointonefour: I probably will add up to 50 dex like with old hyper stats. 50 dex is a huge different even without the potential stacking.
I'm probably gonna max Minimum Critical and PDR. Both gonna cost 300 points. I'll see what to do with the remaining 129 points.

@crizit you shouldn't add points to dex. I've heard it works the same way that inner ability stats work (don't stack with potentials)

@sanjupm: From level 140 to 149, You get 30 points. 150>159 = 40. 160>169 = 50. And so on.

Interesting. TBH I'm not really sure what to do with mine.
I think as level 221, if I calculated it right, I'm gonna get 429 points.
I will probably get lv10 Minimum Critical for sure, But idk what to do with the remaining 279 points.
I'm thinking of PDR / MAX CRIT / DEX. I'd love Elemental/Status resistance aswell but no enough points for everything.. Maybe I won't get to level 10 with every skill. Ahhh! Such a dilemma.

Min crit, pdr, and elemental decrease will probably have the most impact on boss damage so I'm thinking I'll do those.

You mean hyper stats? Probably minimum critical damage and boss damage.

@sanjupm: I don't think you can even tell what they meant by that.
Also the updates coming after new years was just an assumption of mine.. Who knows, Nexon does surprise us sometimes. For bad and good.

@snailpresident: I hate how older threads don't bump up to the top anymore. And also quoting me doesn't make any notifications pop up when it comes to that thread.

Question: What are you guys gonna do with your hyper skills?
Damage? PDR? Boss? Crit\min\max? There's a link of hyper skill revamp above.

Btw quick question on the re balancing this description -> Pirate Style: cast delay has been decreased from 1500ms to 990ms, error where the description and the actual % damage boost given were different

Means now it'll be 20% ATT instead of what it REALLY gave which was 20% TD?

It'll help in reducing summon crew cd. The min crit summon is a massive boost to damage. Really looking forward to the reduced rng. Also, pirates revenge activating in bosses. I can't remember if that's the same patch and I'm too lazy to check right now, but yeah. Good things coming.

The range boosters won't help me really except in cvellum (a line of pdr wouldn't hurt my build), but it will probably help a lot of sairs. This is the best buff we've gotten since they made majestic presence a viable damage line.

@trumpet205: I think we've been asking for that long ago.. Since nexon intended to make us a 'Summon Class', why make them useless? We complained about it before but nothing has been done so far.

@crizit: I personally like to see crews summoned by Scruvy Summon to be more "active". I think the attack interval is 3-4 seconds? And summoned crews only attack enemies that are really close to you.

Uhm.. I don't see anything good in Octo Cannon's boost. I was hoping for a long time that they'd extended the duration, but they raised the damage instead.
As for Nautilius Strike, It seems very interesting but I'm sure I'll keep forgetting to activate that boost each time. The damage boost doesn't help much though.

Nautilus Strike now gives buff (Final Attack from Captain's Diginity +30% damage) when it is on cooldown. Damage for Nautilus Strike is increased to 1020%.

Octo-Cannon is buffed to 300% damage.

Overall faster casting speed and higher damage. Who can say no to that?
