This. Every time you go from level 10 to 11 you gain 2k diligence independent of the daily 500 cap, and it takes about 16 hours to decay from 11 back to 10, then you simply craft one item to reach 11 again. You get 2k diligence per day more or less, making it one of the easiest traits to farm.
If you have smithing, what I do is make silver plates/opals (since you only need 2 ores to make a plate) and then make arrows using smithing. And i just make it til i get my max daily 500 diligence everyday. Idk about other methods but thats what i do
