Things Priced over 10b

Why do people put things in the Shop at 9,999,999,999 and then say that c/o is like 15b and a/w is like 25, when someone could just buy it for the 10b right there? Is there something I'm missing?

yee one of the ways to do it is put in like 2 power elixers, have a friend buy 1 for x amount of meso, then they can take it out of the store and boom you have all your shop slots but money in the store. No one can buy the 10bil item

or they're holding $$ already

If they have anymore than 2 mesos(in that instance) in their store, typically by listing something like pet food for 999 mesos and having a friend buy it, you run into a situation where they have an item at 9,999,999,999 ...so in order for them to sell it would imply that their store will somehow have inside it higher than the amount of mesos the game allows you to have on any one char or in any one store. So, to that end, the store will just refuse your request to buy it. That's the feature they're utilizing in order to safely advertise the item in their store and gather offers from ppl who see it.

If they have mesos on them or in their shop till, it cannot be bought.

Things that are priced at 25b, for example, can be bought a number of ways:

A) 10b + 15b in items/other goods
B) 25b pure mesos in 3 separate trust trades
C) Some people sell for $ or NX which is again a trust trade
The max number of mesos you can have in your inventory is 10b so unless they have 1 meso, you can't buy it from them.
Nope, the max you can have is 10b - 1
